Katya Bailor, MD
Dr. Bailor recently joined Dr. Lieberman after having her own practice on the Treasure Coast since 2015. Like Dr. Lieberman, she is board certified in Otolaryngology as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Bailor is originally from Belarus, and she came to the States after medical school to complete her residency and fellowship programs.
Dr. Bailor received her medical degree from Belarussian State Medical University in Minsk, Belarus in 2003. Her general surgery internship was completed in 2009 at Christiana Hospital in Delaware, and she finished her Otolaryngology residency in 2014 at Oklahoma University Health Science Center in Oklahoma. Dr. Bailor chose to pursue a fellowship degree in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery because of her keen interest in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. Her fellowship training was at the University of Missouri in 2015.
While growing up in Belarus, Dr. Bailor became an accomplished pianist and a talented artist. Inspired by her parents who were both physicians, she also chose medicine as a career, and found that her manual dexterity coupled with her artistic ability were perfect for aesthetic surgery and non-surgical procedures as well.
For relaxation Dr. Bailor enjoys painting and playing the piano, and whenever possible she thoroughly enjoys traveling. She shares her home with her young daughter, Sasha and 2 elderly cats, one of which is totally blind.
